Matthew Ogagavworia has spent the twenty years of his professional life in Banking, Capital Market, Consulting,Oil & Gas and Service Industry. He held a number of posts in the Banking, Capital Markets including that of Senior Associate and Branch Manager. He founded Matog Consulting in 2001, Matthew Ogagavworia & Co in 2010, Qeeva Advisory Limited in 2017 and host of other businesses.

Some of his previous employers include Standard Trust Bank(Now United Bank for Afriica PLC), Ken Ohore & Co.(Chartered Accountants), Tower Assets Management Limited, BGL Securities Limited(A member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange), NNB International Bank PLC(Now part of Unity Bank PLC) and First Inland Bank PLC(Now FCMB Bank PLC)

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Ed) in Economics and an MBA specializing in International Business. He is an Associate member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He has over Fifteen (17) years experience in the Financial Services sector which span through Auditing & Investigation, Public Sector Advisory, Corporate Finance, Project Finance and Management, Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory and Business Development. Teddy has attended several local and international courses including the Euro money programmes in Oil, gas and power project financing, investment fund strategy, financial modelling, an IBFC Agusto training on financial analysis and investment advisory, a Dale and Parker/Brain Tracy international training on personal effectiveness and performance enhancement, and a Securities and Exchange Commission course on understanding capital market rules and regulations.

Teddy Okumakube had worked with D.O. Dafinone & Co. now Dafinone Howarth and Partners (a firm of Chartered Accountants)where he rose to the position of Assistant Manager, Audit.

He is currently the Executive Director at BGL Securities Limited. He previously held the position of Vice President and Head, Business Development, South-East and South-South regions at BGL Securities Ltd for several years.

 

He is a Consultant to the firm, Matthew Ogagavworia & Co(Chartered Accountants). He is also on the board of Tricorr Technology Limited, an Environmental Consulting firm as well as Kings Crown Business School. He is also the promoter of Tedglad Ventures, Mustard Consult and Associates limited and Mustards Marines Limited.

Joshua  is a Consultant to  Matthew Ogagavworia & Co.  He has over 30 years of experience in  Tax Practice, auditing, consulting, financial controls, Risk Management,. He has led several business transformation teams in varied industry both in Nigeria and abroad. His specialties include tax planning and management; financial planning, reporting & control; business modeling and valuation; auditing and compliance testing. He was Assistant Director, Internal Audit , Research & Technical, Finance at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN) for the years 2005-2014.. He was previously Assistant Manager at NPA and Audit Senior at Omamofe Silo & Co(Chartered Accountants) and Usman Aliu & Co.(Chartered Accountants) for the years 1984-1987. He has attended several course both locally and international to boost his training. He also worked as Part-Time Lecturer for 10years at the Rivers State University of Science & Technology. He has also being an Invigilator/Examiner/Accessor at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
